The final day of the NFL Draft is here for 2026, with rounds four, five, six and seven set to go off from Pittsburgh this afternoon.
The Lions have six picks remaining in the draft after making a pair of picks in the first two days, both in the trenches: Clemson offensive tackle Blake Miller at No. 17 overall and a trade up to No. 44 for Michigan edge rusher Derrick Moore.
Moore was the first player from a Michigan college selected, followed by a pair of teammates: tight end Marlin Klein and edge/linebacker Jaishawn Barham, who went to the Texans and Cowboys, respectively. No players from Michigan State of the Michigan MAC schools have been selected yet, though several could be drafted today like MSU center Matt Gulbin, Western Michigan edge rusher Nadame Tucker and Central Michigan defensive end Michael Heldman.
A pair of local products have also both been drafted by the Minnesota Vikings.
Detroit will pick fairly early in the day at No. 118, a fourth-round pick, and general manager Brad Holmes has a pair of fifth and sixth round picks to potentially wield for a trade.
Regardless of what Detroit does, there’s likely to be a lot going to be a lot happening in the draft on Saturday.
