3 Must-Watch HBO Max Shows You Need to Stream in March 2026: ‘DTF St. Louis’ and More

March is the month for comedy shows on HBO Max, and we’re here for it.

Foreign selections dominated last month’s fresh selections, but this month’s batch of new series is loaded with star power.

That made it really easy for Watch With Us to focus on the three must-watch HBO Max shows you need to stream in March 2026.

The good news is that you don’t even have to wait for the first show to premiere. It’s already waiting for you on HBO Max, and the rest will follow soon.

‘DTF St. Louis’ (2026)

DTF St. Louis is HBO Max’s latest dark comedy, and it features Stranger Things‘ David Harbour as sign language interpreter Floyd Smernitch, with Linda Cardellini as his wife, Carol. After Floyd befriends a TV weatherman, Clark Forrest (Jason Bateman), the two discover mutual interests and an app that helps married couples find willing sexual partners.

Some gaps in the story will be filled in before the end of this seven-episode miniseries. But what we do know is that one of these men will wind up dead, and their lies, secrets and obsessions will come back to haunt them. They could lose everything once their private lives are in the public eye.

‘Rooster’ (2026)

Steve Carell has occasionally returned to television since leaving The Office, but he’s diving back into the medium this month as the star of his own HBO series. Rooster features Carell as Greg Russo, an author who is looking for a new act in his life. Greg forever lives in the shadow of his most popular character, Rooster, and his own life looks pale in comparison.

When Greg’s grown daughter, Katie (Charly Clive), is thrust into a crisis that may destroy her career as a college professor, he strikes a deal with the dean (John C. McGinley) to become a guest lecturer on campus if Katie can keep her job. That gives Greg a chance to reinvent himself after his divorce and to potentially find a new love to move on with.

Rooster will stream on HBO Max on March 8.

‘The Comeback’ (2005, 2014, 2026)

Few shows have had the strange trajectory of The Comeback, a sitcom starring Friends‘ Lisa Kudrow. The satirical comedy was canceled after the first season in 2006, and yet it’s mounted two improbable comebacks of its own. After 11 years away, The Comeback is set for its third and final season.

Story details about what to expect are still scarce, but Kudrow’s character, Valerie Cherish, is an actress who never regained the level of fame she had from a sitcom that she appeared in decades ago. Valerie’s attempts to regain a relevant place in the entertainment industry haven’t exactly gone well in the past. Will this time be any different? And what does Valerie have up her sleeve in the new season? We’ll find out soon.

The Comeback season 3 will stream on HBO Max on March 22.
