Spring is officially just around the corner — and so are a month’s worth of new shows and movies on streaming.
March is shaping up to be a fantastic month for the streaming landscape.
From buzzy new shows like Rooster and Scarpetta to returning series like Jury Duty and Invincible and movie debuts like Nuremberg, there’s plenty of exciting stuff to watch.
For the first week of March, Watch With Us has compiled a list of the very best stuff you can find on streamers like Netflix, Hulu and more.
Our first recommendation is War Machine, a new action sci-fi starring Alan Ritchson.
‘War Machine’ (2026) — Netflix
From Australian director Patrick Hughes (The Hitman’s Bodyguard) comes this thrilling sci-fi action epic starring Reacher‘s Alan Ritchson as the leader of an Army Rangers boot camp. During the final stages of training, a threat unlike anything humanity has ever faced descends upon the planet, and the men must fight for their survival and face off against an otherworldly war machine.
War Machine premiered last month in Australia, with some fans already comparing it favorably to the classic Arnold Schwarzenegger movie Predator. You can count us seated for when it premieres on Netflix this week — it’s a big-budget spectacle that looks to be a rollicking good time. In addition to Ritchson, the fantastic cast includes Dennis Quaid, Jai Courtney, Stephen James and Esai Morales.

‘Young Sherlock’ Season 1 — Amazon Prime Video
This new British series focuses on the early years of the famous Sherlock Holmes, played by Hero Fiennes Tiffin. In Young Sherlock, Holmes is a 19-year-old Oxford University student and not yet the world-renowned detective he will someday be. Though brash and in great need of discipline, Holmes ends up entangled in a murder mystery at his own university that plunges him into the world of crime-solving that will define his career.
Steven Moffat‘s Sherlock was certainly a hit back in the 2010s, so we’re excited at the possibility of a successful new twist on the classic character of Sherlock Holmes. The series is directed by Guy Ritchie, who helmed both Sherlock Holmes and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law. Along with Fiennes, Young Sherlock also stars Joseph Fiennes, Colin Firth, Zine Tseng and Dónal Finn.
Stream Young Sherlock on Amazon Prime Video on March 4.
‘RJ Decker’ Season 1 — Hulu
Ex-convict and disgraced newspaper reporter RJ Decker (Scott Speedman) decides to start fresh as a private investigator in South Florida. There, Decker gets involved in an array of cases ranging from weird to weirder, with the help of his journalist ex-girlfriend and her police detective wife. Decker also receives some assistance from a mysterious benefactor — a woman from his past who has the potential to get Decker thrown back in prison.
RJ Decker is a new crime series on ABC based on the novel Double Whammy by Carl Hiaasen. This is the second of Hiaasen’s works to be adapted into a series, following Apple TV’s Bad Monkey starring Vince Vaughn. The supporting cast includes Jaina Lee Ortiz, Bevin Bru, Kevin Rankin and Adelaide Clemens.

‘Fackham Hall’ (2025) — HBO Max
Thief Eric Noone (Ben Radcliffe) is sent to give a message to the esteemed Lord Davenport (Damian Lewis), but when he arrives, he is mistaken for an applicant for the open position of hall boy and ends up with the job. After daughter Poppy Davenport (Emma Laird) flees her arranged marriage with her cousin Archibald (Tom Felton), the Davenports attempt to force their other daughter, Rose (Thomasin Mackenzie), onto him; instead, Rose begins an affair with Eric. But then Lord Davenport turns up dead, and all eyes are on the new hall boy.
Fackham Hall hit theaters back in December and has finally received its streaming debut. This satirical period comedy has been praised for its highly ambitious story, infectious comic spirit and sheer number of gags. It’s the perfect movie to watch for people who love Downton Abbey, but also love to laugh. It’s silly, stupid and ridiculous in all the best ways. The supporting cast also features Katherine Waterston, Jimmy Carr and Hayley Mills.
Stream Fackham Hall on HBO Max March 6.
‘The Hunt’ Season 1 — Apple TV
The Hunt has had a rocky road to finally getting its official premiere date of March 4. The French drama series starring Benoît Magimel and Mélanie Laurent was originally set for a December 3 release, but was pushed back three months following a probe into allegations of plagiarism. It was noted that the show bears striking similarities to Douglas Fairbairn’s 1973 novel, Shoot, enough that the producer had to require rights authorization. Now, The Hunt is billed as an adaptation of Shoot.
The six-episode series centers on Magimel’s Franck, who finds himself targeted alongside his hunting buddies by another group of hunters. When one of Franck’s friends is shot, they shoot back, successfully hitting one of their attackers. The group keeps the incident to themselves, and Franck gets back to his life with his wife, Krystel (Laurent). But he and his friends can’t shake the feeling that they’re being watched. The show also stars Manuel Guillot, Cédric Appietto, Damien Bonnard, and Frédéric Maranber.
