Adisa Isaac, Bilhal Kone return to Ravens practice after passing physicals

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — The Baltimore Ravens welcomed two young defenders back to practice Friday when outside linebacker Adisa Isaac and cornerback Bilhal Kone passed their physicals and came off the physically unable to perform list. Both players were among six to open training camp on active/PUP while continuing lengthy recoveries. Their clearance allows them to practice immediately and begin competing for roles before Baltimore’s preseason schedule begins.

Isaac enters one of the most important stretches of his career after appearing in only four games during his first two NFL seasons. The Ravens selected him in the third round of the 2024 draft, but a hamstring injury delayed his rookie season and limited him to 32 defensive snaps and 46 on special teams. He missed all of 2025 after undergoing surgery to repair a dislocated elbow.

Isaac recorded 14.5 sacks during his Penn State career, including 7.5 sacks and 16 tackles for loss in his final season. That production demonstrated the burst and pass-rushing potential Baltimore hopes can emerge with sustained availability.

His opportunity will not be guaranteed. Trey Hendrickson, Tavius Robinson, Mike Green and second-round pick Zion Young headline a crowded outside linebacker rotation. Isaac must remain healthy and contribute on special teams to strengthen his case for the roster.

Kone is also returning from a significant injury. The Ravens’ 2025 sixth-round pick tore the ACL and MCL in his knee during Baltimore’s first preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts, ending his rookie season before it began.

He joins a cornerback room led by Nate Wiggins, Marlon Humphrey and Chidobe Awuzie. T.J. Tampa and several other young defensive backs are also competing for reserve jobs and special teams roles.

The Ravens announced both players were cleared Friday, marking another positive medical development after Nnamdi Madubuike returned earlier in the week.

Passing a physical represents only the first step. Isaac and Kone must prove they can stay available, regain their confidence and close ground on competitors who began practicing earlier. Both finally have that opportunity.
