Amanda Batula’s half-bun,half-pony isn’t going anywhere.
Batula’s hairstylist, Olivia Halpin, stood by the hairdo, which caught major attention after the Summer House season 10 reunion, via Instagram on Tuesday, June 2.
“The bun you love to hate,” Halpin captioned a pic of Batula at the reunion.
Batula wore her signature style, which features a middle part and her tresses slicked back, during the explosive reunion. Instead of twisting all of her mane into an updo, Batula’s brunette hair was pulled into a small bun with longer pieces draping out the bottom.
While some fans were surprised to learn that Batula’s updo was not DIY, others were in full support of the updo.
“Wait she paid to have this done??????” one wrote. A second quipped, “Girllll the way I would never let anyone know I did this 😂.” A third added, “You could not have waterboarded this information out of me.”
More praised the style, writing, “I happen to LOVE the bun,” and “I love this bun and u sm!” A third commented, “A flexxxxx🔥🔥🔥🔥.”
Batula has worn a similar hairstyle throughout all 10 seasons on Summer House. It evolved from a messy high bun with just her ends poking out to the slicked-back look she often dons now.
During the reunion, Batula found herself in hot water when confronted by costars Ciara Miller and her estranged husband Kyle Cooke over her budding romantic connection with West Wilson, who is Miller’s ex. At one point, she left the stage in tears.
Host Andy Cohen revealed just how long of a break Batula took during a Wednesday, June 3, episode of his “Radio Andy” podcast. “At least 15 minutes, but I’m going to say 20. I’m going to say 20 or more,” he shared.
