THIS is the awkward moment the head of the Natural History Museum is asked to move by a Chinese security guard – while live on Sky News.
The blunder unfolded during a live interview from China on the channel earlier today.
Dr Gurr, the director of the Natural History Museum in Kensington, is visiting China alongside Sir Keir Starmer as part of a business delegation.
As a former head of Amazon UK and Amazon China, Dr Gurr was invited on to Sky News to discuss the trip, per the Daily Mail.
He told the broadcaster: “All of us in both the culture and business delegation, frankly we’ve been thrilled.”
Shortly after, a smartly dressed security guard can be seen approaching Dr Gurr from behind.

Mystery as Sky News presenter quits the UK to move to Canada and asks for help
The museum chief appears to speak to the guard, before switching his camera off.
After a brief moment of confusion, Dr Gurr returns on air from a new spot, telling viewers he had been “encouraged to move on.”
During the awkward blunder, the Sky News anchor, Wilfred Frost, remarked: “It’s lucky you speak the language.”
The interview then continued and finished as normal, with the ex-Amazon boss saying the trip is going “really well.”
Also joining him was a delegation of business, cultural and sporting figures, including representatives from Barclays, AstraZeneca and British Airways.
The group is in China with Sir Keir, who met President Xi in the early hours for landmark talks.
The PM held two hours of discussions and agreed to forge closer ties with China “for the sake of world peace”.
Earlier, Starmer handed Xi — a Manchester United fan — the match ball from their recent win over his own team, Arsenal.
After the talks, Sir Keir said Xi was “someone he could do business with,” but added he had also raised human rights concerns.
The Prime Minister has promised Xi Jinping a more “sophisticated” relationship after years of “twists and turns” in the UK-China alliance.
In an apparent peace-offering, the two leaders also agreed UK citizens will be able to travel to China for 30 days without a visa.
