More than a year after setting the box office ablaze, Warner Bros.’ critical and commercial hit “Sinners” will be coming to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights.

Universal Studios announced the new attraction in a press release, while debuting a teaser video, key art and shots of merchandise fans will be able to acquire when the attraction opens.

The highly-anticipated annual attraction opens at Universal Studios Orlando starting on Friday, August 28, while the Universal Studios Hollywood version debuts a few days later on Thursday, September 3.

The film, directed by Ryan Coogler (“Creed, Black Panther), starred Michael B. Jordan playing identical twins Smoke and Stack, who return home to Mississippi in 1932 to open a juke joint.

Things do not go as planned, though, when their club is attacked by a group of nefarious vampires as the twins and their employees band together to survive the night.

The Horror Nights house will take fans into the iconic Club Juke, as they must evade the vampire characters Remick, Bert and Joan, originally played in the film by Jack O’Connell, Peter Dreimanis and Lola Kirke.

Fans will also encounter other characters from the film such as Sammie (Miles Caton), Mary (Hailee Steinfeld), Annie (Wunmi Musaki), Pearline (Jayme Lawson) and Cornbread (Omar Benson Miller), played by Horror Nights scare actors.

“At Halloween Horror Nights, we push the boundaries of what a live horror experience can be,” said John Murdy, Executive Producer, Halloween Horror Nights, Universal Studios Hollywood.

“Just as Ryan Coogler’s Academy Award winning film, ‘Sinners’ re-invented the vampire movie, we are re-inventing the haunted house and creating new ways to scare our guests that we’ve never attempted and are thrilled to bring this amazing story to life in a truly terrifying and fully immersive way,” Murdy added.

“The moment ‘Sinners’ premiered, we knew it was an undeniable fit for Halloween Horror Nights and it’s an honor to bring this story to life,” said Mike Aiello, Senior Director of Entertainment Creative Development at Universal Orlando Resort.

“It’s rare for a film to fully satisfy hardcore horror fans while also inviting new audiences into the genre—and that’s exactly what ‘Sinners’ does. Its world, characters and intensity will translate into a relentless haunted house. We can’t wait for our fans to step inside and experience the horror firsthand in a way that only Halloween Horror Nights can deliver.”
