Stacey Augmon was one of the last players signed by the Charlotte Hornets before they eventually relocated to become the New Orleans Hornets. Augmon played one season for Charlotte, wearing the No. 2 and averaging 4.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.7 steals and 0.2 blocks in 77 appearances.Augmon, a 15-year NBA veteran and former No. 9 overall pick in the 1991 NBA Draft, played over 1,000 career games but enjoyed his best seasons with the Atlanta Hawks. In five seasons with Atlanta, Augmon averaged 13.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.4 blocks. He also played for the Portland Trail Blazers, New Orleans Hornets, Orlando Magic and the Detroit Pistons.
