A private Christian school teacher accused of being one of two to have sex with the same student was busted after the 15-year-old boy was able to sketch an accurate drawing of her bedroom, it was revealed in court this week.
The accuser, now 19, came face-to-face with Bonnie Elizabeth Brown, 26, on the second day of her sex crime trial in Georgia Tuesday — just weeks after another of his teachers, Sherri Delle Mauldin, 61, was sentenced to 12 years in prison for repeatedly having sex with him.
He told jurors he had sex with Brown twice in 2023 when he was a Nathanael Greene Academy ninth-grader – once at his aunt’s home after class, and then at her home over the spring break, according to 11Alive.
He later sketched an image of her bedroom to help investigators – and used a pointer while talking about his picture in the courthouse.
The boy also claimed the teacher sent him explicit snaps, specifically using Snapchat because she knew the messages would eventually vanish.
She also gave the boy a ring and called him her “favorite,” jurors were told.
Brown, a languages teacher, was arrested in June 2024. When Mauldin was later also arrested — going on to admit sex with the same student — the scandal led to the exclusive school been shuttered.
The boy initially denied having sex with Brown when first quizzed by cops — but later changed his story, saying he was afraid to admit it at first because he was getting bullied.
When Brown was interrogated, her demeanour radically changed whenever the sex accusations were raised, an investigator testified.
“Whenever we’d ask her if there was sexual contact between her and [the victim], she would either completely stop talking or dry-heave type motion,” the agent said.
“She would answer any other question that we had, but if we brought up sexual contact, she would shut down.”
Brown has been charged with eight counts of sexual contact and faces up to 20 years in prison for each count.
Her trial got underway just two weeks after Mauldin was sentenced to 12 years in prison and 25 years probation
