More than 3,000 athletes from 74 Commonwealth nations and territories will compete in 215 medal events over days and across 10 sports at Glasgow 2026.

Wednesday, 29 July – day six (26 golds)
Day six highlights:
There are the finals of both 3×3 basketball formats, while the men’s 200m freestyle could bring a home nations showdown in the pool.

Thursday, 30 July – day seven (17 golds)
Day seven highlights:
The first day of finals in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome features a packed programme culminating in the men’s and women’s team sprints.
The women’s 5,000m final could be the race to watch at Scotstoun, while England’s Emily Campbell bids to defend her title on the final day of weightlifting.

Day eight highlights:
The men’s and women’s 200m finals are at Scotstoun, as well as Georgia Hunter Bell in the women’s 800m final.
At the velodrome, it will be the men’s keirin and head-to-head sprints, and the judo starts in the SEC Centre, with Scotland looking to better their four medals in Birmingham.

The sporting action concludes with finals in the velodrome – including the women’s keirin, on the judo mat, the bowling green and the netball court, where England will hope to be involved in the gold-medal match.
