Inter Milan talisman Lautaro Martinez returned to the scoresheet in yesterday’s 2-0 away win over Serie A minnows Cremonese.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, El Toro produced an attacking masterclass at Stadio Giovanni Zini.

Despite his recent drop-off in the UEFA Champions League, Lautaro Martinez has been unstoppable in Serie A.

Indeed, the 28-year-old has now scored in three consecutive league appearances, having previously found the net against Udinese and Pisa.

Lautaro drew first blood yesterday, powering home a towering header after getting on the end of Federico Dimarco’s inch-perfect cross.

In doing so, the former Racing Club striker extended his lead at the top of the Serie A scoring board, taking his tally to 13 league goals this season.

Curiously, the Nerazzurri captain remains the only player in Italy’s top flight to have smashed a 10-goal barrier so far this term.

Meanwhile, out-of-form wingback Luis Henrique put on a rare promising performance.
