Dave & Busters is hiding 3-carat diamond rings worth $15K in their ‘human crane’ machines — here’s what it takes to snag one

It’s the vending machine prize to end them all.

Any Romeo hoping to woo his lover with a Dave & Buster’s dinner better be ready to pop the question — just in case she happens to score one of their new eye-popping prizes.

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the arcade and restaurant chain is giving lucky patrons a chance to snag a 3-carat diamond engagement ring reportedly worth $15,000.

“Valentine’s Day is one of the most popular proposal days of the year, and on February 14, Dave & Buster’s is inviting couples to take part in a proposal that feels bold, memorable, and entirely unexpected,” the brand said in the release.

The rings will be buried and enclosed inside the viral Human Crane game, a full-body arcade game that turns the player into the crane by lowering them into an oversized pit of prizes, designed by Platinum Days.

Human Crane rides start at $20 per person, though the five lucky players who find a ring — the number hidden across D&B’s 156 locations nationwide — could come away with 750 times the profit.

That leaves about a 3% chance of attending a Dave & Buster’s containing one of these rings.

“Dave & Buster’s has always been about bringing people together for unforgettably fun moments, and date nights are no exception,” Melissa Powers, Vice President of Marketing at Dave & Buster’s, said in a statement.

“This Valentine’s Day, we’re elevating that experience even further by giving couples a chance to turn date night into a proposal they’ll never forget.”

And for couples hoping to get a ring and a meal for Valentine’s Day, Dave & Buster’s is offering a $99 Date Night Duo Deal from Monday through Friday leading up to the holiday.

The experience includes two 90-minute All-You-Can-Play game cards with a sit-down meal featuring the choice of one appetizer, two entrées and one dessert.
