The Seattle Seahawks defense may be the defense to select in fantasy football leagues this year to give an edge to team managers.
According to Sports Illustrated’s Michael Fabiano in his ranking of the best defenses for seasonal leagues with auction values based off of a $200 budget, the Seahawks’ defense ranked No. 3 overall with a value of $3.
The Seahawks’ defense ranked behind the Houston Texans’ unit, which was given an auction values of $5. Seattle’s defense also carried the same $3 value as the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Broncos’ defenses.
Seattle will bring back all three of their All-Pro defenders from last season in Leonard Williams, Ernest Jones IV and Devon Witherspoon. The Seahawks also have Byron Murphy, Nick Emmanwori and DeMarcus Lawrence back in town for the 2026 season.
Seattle’s defense is liable to finish as the highest-scoring unit in fantasy football leagues next season, and will be worth the price in auction leagues.
