Exclusive | Multiple additional gloves found by The Post in same area near Nancy Guthrie’s house where FBI found potential evidence

TUCSON, Arizona — Multiple additional gloves have been found by The Post in the same area where the FBI collected a black glove that investigators think could be tied to the abduction of Nancy Guthrie.

The Post was on the ground for the discovery of the gloves Sunday afternoon in Catalina Foothills, roughly two miles from the home of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie’s mother.

It’s not known whether any of the discarded items are connected to the crime, but The Post has alerted the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.

All of the gloves were close enough to the highway that they could have been tossed from a speeding car.

The blue glove, one of three found in the vicinity by The Post, was spotted by the southbound side of the highway that runs through the Catalina Foothills neighborhood.

It is a secluded spot with no houses or buildings, but with various side streets leading off into suburban subdivisions.

The highway is on the most likely route Nancy’s abductor would have taken if they were heading south from her house toward Tucson or the Mexican border.

The news comes after the FBI said that a black nitrile glove found in the same area “appears to match” a pair seen being worn by the masked suspect in doorbell surveillance footage taken the night of Nancy’s disappearance.

Officials are awaiting confirmation on DNA results, which usually takes around 24 hours to come back, the agency said.

Last week, a total of 16 gloves were found about two miles from Nancy’s home — and it’s not uncommon to see gloves and other litter in the desert.

However, The Post’s discovery — so close to the area where possible evidence in the case was found — suggested authorities did not do a broader search of the area after finding the glove.

The armed, masked suspect — seen on Nancy Guthrie’s Nest doorbell cam the night she was abducted — appeared to be wearing two pairs of gloves — black nitrile gloves over thicker gloves.
