A man has been arrested after a 17-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in an alleyway outside a school.
The reported attack happened on Sunday near Launceston College, Launceston, Cornwall.
According to cops, the victim managed to escape from the attacker when the alleged assault was interrupted by a dog walker.
A massive search for the suspect was then launched after the assault was reported.
A force helicopter was deployed to the town to assist with the manhunt.
Police subsequently located a man in his 30s and he was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
He remains in police custody at this time.
Devon and Cornwall Police is appealing for any information that may assist their investigation.
The force is particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant video footage.
