Granddaughter adorably teaches 102-year-old grandparents how to use Uber Eats — and people can’t get enough of the wholesome moment

You’re never too old to learn something new.

A very sweet moment between a granddaughter and her grandparents has gone viral for all the right reasons.

Content creator Francesca Rietti posted a video of her sitting down at a computer with her
102-year-old grandfather and 89-year-old grandmother to teach them how to use Uber Eats, an online food delivery platform the youngsters can’t get enough of.

Never in their lives did this elderly couple probably think they’d live to see the day when people could click a few buttons on a screen and have food show up at their doorstep — but here they were adapting to 2026 technology and ready to learn — with a pen and notebook in tow.

“Welcome to Uber Eats 101,” Rietti says as her adorable grandmother scoots her chair in closer to see the computer monitor in front of them.

As their granddaughter brings them through the various steps of ordering food through the site, which honestly could sound a little more complicated than most of us probably realize when they’re being explained to an entirely different generation, grandma is seen diligently taking notes as grandpa seems to just be along for the ride.

“George, do you see that?” grandma asks, while her husband point blankly responds, “No, I can’t.” “Uber eats up top,” to which he replies, “Okay.”

George is clearly putting full trust in his wife to understand this tech lesson.

Rietti continues her tutorial while patiently answering questions from grandma like, “How do I get into this?” “This is the browser,” their grandaughter answers.

The heartwarming video, with almost 26 million views, captioned “found your new biggest fans @Uber Eats,” has almost 20,000 commenters in stitches.

“IM DEAD,” one commenter wrote.

“grandma does not play about her notes,” read another comment.

“Grandpa is just here for the vibes, grandma is here to learn lol,” chimed in someone else.

One commenter even offered advice, “Pro tip. Don’t say the name, describe the icons. chrome = beach ball. (Teaching my 67-year-old mother how to use the printer has been a nightmare for years).”
