The Carolina Hurricanes punched their ticket to the Stanley Cup Final on Friday night after beating the Montreal Canadiens 6-1, securing a 4-1 series victory in the Eastern Conference Finals and a date with the Vegas Golden Knights beginning Tuesday night.

The Hurricanes, which claimed their first and only Stanley Cup during the 2005-06 season, have compiled a 12-1 record during the current postseason run, sweeping the Ottawa Senators and Philadelphia Flyers in the first and second rounds, respectively. Carolina is led by coach Rod Brind’Amour, who has played or coached in 98 of the franchise’s 100 postseason wins.

Meanwhile, the Golden Knights, which hired coach John Tortorella late in the regular season, swept the Colorado Avalanche 4-0 in the Western Conference Finals to earn a berth in the Stanley Cup Final for the third time in the team’s nine-year history. Vegas most recently appeared in the Final in 2023, beating the Florida Panthers 4-1 to win its first ever Stanley Cup.

Here’s a full schedule breakdown for the Stanley Cup Final, which is a best-of-seven series. All games will begin at 8 p.m. ET.

Game 1: Tuesday, June 2 – Vegas at Carolina

Game 2: Thursday, June 4 – Vegas at Carolina

Game 3: Saturday, June 6 – Carolina at Vegas

Game 4: Tuesday, June 9 – Carolina at Vegas

Game 5 (if necessary): Thursday, June 11 – Vegas at Carolina

Game 6 (if necessary): Sunday, June 14 – Carolina at Vegas

Game 7 (if necessary): Wednesday, June 17 – Vegas at Carolina

How To Watch The Stanley Cup Final

Fans can watch the Stanley Cup Final on ABC in the United States and across Sportsnet, CBS, and TVA Sports in Canada.

This will mark ESPN/ABC’s third Stanley Cup Final in five years in the current U.S. media rights deal, which the NHL and broadcast partners signed ahead of the 2021-22 season.

ABC’s broadcasters will include play by play caller Sean McDonough, analyst Ray Ferraro, and insider/reporter Emily Kaplan. Studio host Steve Levy will also be joined by analysts Mark Messier and P.K. Subban on-site in both markets.

How To Bet On The Stanley Cup Final

Ahead of the Stanley Cup Final, the Hurricanes are the betting favorite at -155 to win the Cup, according to the most recent betting odds at the DraftKings Sportsbook. Vegas forward Mitch Marner is the favorite (+165) to win the Conn Smythe Trophy, which is awarded to the Most Valuable Player for his team during the NHL postseason. Marner is followed by Carolina goaltender Frederik Andersen (+250) and forward Taylor Hall (+600), per DraftKings.
