Julia Garner Steps Out Solo at 2026 World Cup Final Amid Reported Mark Foster Divorce

Inventing Anna star Julia Garner made her first public appearance following her reported breakup from husband Mark Foster at the thrilling 2026 World Cup final.

Garner, 32, walked the red carpet solo at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on Sunday, July 19, where Argentina and Spain faced off for the FIFA championship trophy. As she took in the match, Garner brought the edge in a black, leather bomber jacket with coordinating mini shorts tucked into a white T-shirt.

Garner, who accessorized her look with a small black clutch and peep-toe pumps, wore her blonde locks in a curled pixie ‘do.

Three days before her World Cup appearance, news broke that Garner and Foster, 42, quietly separated after six years of marriage. (Neither Garner nor Foster publicly addressed their relationship status at the time. Us Weekly reached out to reps for both stars for comment.)

Garner and the musician, who were last spotted together at a Hollywood afterparty in October 2025, had been together since 2018.

“In our first conversation, we realized that my grandmother lived in the same small town that his dad lives in, just outside of Cleveland,” Garner recalled to Vogue in 2020 of her first date with Foster, noting they kept running into one another during the Christmas holiday. “It kind of became a tradition.”

Foster popped the question in May 2019 after 10 months of dating before the pair said “I do” in a New York City courthouse wedding that December.

“I started freaking out because I was getting married in 10 days and had nothing to wear,” she told Vogue of the lead-up to the ceremony, which followed in Garner’s parents’ footsteps. “When I was on a lunch break in my [Ozark] trailer, I went on Instagram, and I got a DM from Danielle Frankel asking me if I had found a dress.”

Garner continued, “I wrote her back, and we exchanged numbers. The next day we spoke on the phone, and I felt like I’d known her forever. It was an Instagram miracle!”

For the intimate nuptials, Garner wore Frankel’s coincidentally titled “Julia Dress.”

“I’d been a fan of Danielle’s for a while…even before we started planning for the wedding,” Garner added at the time. “I first heard about her when she was nominated for the Fashion Fund award. After that, I started following her on Instagram. Her pieces have everything I love. They’re beautiful, modern, smart, classic, edgy, original, flattering and powerful.”
