A new street-food sensation in the San Fernando Valley is turning ordinary snack bags into fully loaded meals — and hungry Angelenos are lining up to try it.

At SHAW, a popular food vendor in Van Nuys, customers bring their own bag of chips and watch as it gets transformed into a massive, overstuffed bowl of flavor. The concept is simple: hand over your favorite chips, and the crew slices open the bag and piles it high with rice, beans, your choice of meat, guacamole, cheese, lettuce and more.

The result? A crunchy, messy, fully loaded meal served right inside the chip bag.

Located at 7257 Woodman Ave in Van Nuys, SHAW has quickly gained traction online thanks to viral videos showing the over-the-top snack hack in action. Clips circulating on social media show staff scooping steaming rice, grilled chicken or beef, and fresh toppings directly into the open chip bag while customers watch the towering creation come together.

The build-your-own bowls start at $13 for chicken and $14 for beef, making it a relatively affordable option for a hearty street-style meal in Los Angeles.

The spot is open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and also offers catering for events.
