So while the 2028 Summer Olympic Games are still roughly two years away, if you’re interested in seeing events live and in-person in Los Angeles, you’re going to have to start planning ahead. At this stage, a small number of tickets will be sold to anyone lucky enough to have been selected for a ticket draw (which has already closed). Right now, one surefire way to buy tickets is to purchase them through a hospitality package, though you can expect those to be pricey, at least a few hundred dollars per person. How to register for the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympics ticket draw and buy presale tickets:
The registration for the ticket draws for the upcoming ticket drop and Visa presale has already closed. If you were lucky enough to register and receive a presale time slot, you will have already been notified. If you registered for the regular (non-presale) draw, you’ll be notified on August 6 or 7 if you have been selected for a ticket purchase time slot. Each registered person with a time slot may purchase up to 12 tickets across all sports and sessions, except for soccer matches and Opening and Closing Ceremonies.
Time slots exclusively for qualifying Visa cardholders to purchase tickets during the Visa Presale run from July 29–31, 2026, and Drop 2 time slots take place from August 10–20, 2026.

When are the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Games?
The Los Angeles Summer Olympic Games will officially run from July 14-30, 2028, but select events will begin as early as July 10.

LA28 events will be spread across more than 40 venues in and around Los Angeles, including the Intuit Dome, Dodger Stadium, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and Rose Bowl Stadium. These Olympics mark the first time since 1948 that no new structures will have been built for the occasion.

How to attend the LA28 Olympics without tickets
There are a few events fans can attend at the 2028 Summer Games without tickets. Marathons, race walking, and cycling (road race and time trials) are not ticketed events, and fans will be able to cheer along sections of these courses for free, subject to space availability.
