Lille predicted XI v Lens: Les Dogues have their sights set on the podium

On the back of a seven-match unbeaten run, including two consecutive wins, Lille OSC are brimming with confidence as they prepare to host RC Lens in the Northern Derby. It is a high-profile fixture for Bruno Génésio’s side, who, should they win, would temporarily move into third place in the table.

In their bid to achieve this, Les Dogues will have a virtually full squad at their disposal. Apart from Hamza Igamane, Ousmane Touré and Marc-Aurele Caillard – all three of whom have been out for a long time – the only player missing is Chancel Mbemba, who has been invited to a presidential reception following the Democratic Republic of Congo’s qualification for the 2026 World Cup.

Lille captain Benjamin André, who has been out since mid-March, is now back in the squad selected by Génésio, although the 35-year-old is not expected to start the match.

Lille likely line-up v Lens

Berke Özer; Thomas Meunier, Nathan Ngoy, Aïssa Mandi, Kalvin Verdonk; Ayyoub Bouaddi, Nabil Bentaleb; Ngal’ayel Mukau, Hákon Arnar Haraldsson, Félix Correia; Matias Fernandez-Pardo
