A GROUP of masked men with knives have injured multiple people while they fought outside an Asda supermarket.

Inquiries are ongoing after police in Nottingham were called to the Asda in Priestsic Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, at around 11.57pm yesterday (Friday March 13).

It was reported that a group of males wearing face coverings were wielding knives during the terrifying incident.

Officers rushed to the scene and found two members of the public had been harmed.

A 17-year-old boy was slashed on his arm and a 24-year-old man suffered an injury to his elbow.

Both injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and the victims are currently receiving support.

The area has been corned as police investigate the incident.

Cops have launched an appeal to the public to try and hunt down those responsible.

Detective Sergeant Adam Penn, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are treating this incident seriously and a team of detectives is working hard to locate those involved.

“I would urge anyone who saw what happened or who may have any other information which could help us with our inquiries, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem, to please come forward and to speak to us.

“Similarly, we’d like to hear from anyone who may have recorded dashcam, CCTV, or mobile phone footage which may assist us with our ongoing inquiries.

“We fully understand how concerning this will be within the community, however I want to reassure people that at this stage we are currently treating this as an isolated incident.”

Anyone with information are urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 868 of 13 March 2026, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
