Fans of an Israel-based soccer team appeared to be mocked with Nazi salutes during a recent match.

Hapoel Tel Aviv, of the Israeli Premier League, faced Polish Ekstraklasa team GKS Katowice in the UEFA Conference League on Wednesday, with the Israeli squad eliminating the Polish team.

But after the match, a hostile environment appeared to get even more tense, as several GKS Katowice fans appeared to do the salute in the direction of the Hapoel Tel Aviv fans.

UEFA said in an email that the actions are “currently being reviewed.”

GKS Katowice was bounced from the tournament despite defeating Hapoel Tel Aviv, 2-1, on Wednesday, as the next round is based on aggregate scores from two games against the foes. Hapoel Tel Aviv won its Aug. 6 match with GKS Katowice, 2-0, meaning it moved on with an aggregate score of 3-2.
