The New York Giants are hosting Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love for a top-30 pre-draft visit in East Rutherford, continuing their thorough evaluation of the standout prospect ahead of the 2026 NFL draft.
Art Stapleton of NorthJersey.com was the first to report the news.
Notre Dame star running back Jeremiyah Love will be meeting with the New York Giants for an official “30” visit at the team’s training facility in East Rutherford on Thursday, an individual with knowledge of the interview told NorthJersey.com and The Record.
Love, a 6-foot, 212-pound dynamic playmaker, was a key weapon for the Fighting Irish last season, amassing 1,652 yards from scrimmage and 21 touchdowns. He set a Notre Dame record with two touchdown runs of 90-plus yards and impressed at the Scouting Combine with 40-yard dash times of 4.36 and 4.37 seconds.
Widely regarded as one of the top offensive talents in the 2026 class—potentially the premier non-quarterback—Love has drawn comparisons to versatile backs like Jahmyr Gibbs for his speed, receiving skills, and big-play ability.
The Giants, holding the No. 5 overall pick, previously met with Love at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis two weeks ago. Scouts from the team also attended several Notre Dame games during the past season, underscoring their longstanding interest.
Love spoke positively about the earlier interaction, calling the Giants’ coaches “really cool people.”
“I like them a lot, I feel like they like me a lot as well. Hopefully they call my name on draft night, and we can continue building better relationships,” he said.
Love highlighted the appeal of potentially learning from veteran back Cam Skattebo in New York’s run-heavy scheme.
This top-30 visit allows for deeper discussions in the shadow of MetLife Stadium, where Love could one day play, as the Giants explore adding elite talent to bolster their backfield.
