Northampton Town have signed Nottingham Forest defender Josh Powell on loan for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old made 27 appearances in League Two last season during previous loan spells at Colchester United and Fleetwood Town.
He is Northampton’s 11th signing so far in the summer transfer window.
“Josh will provide depth and competition in the back line,” said manager Chris Hogg. “He is a player who can play at full back or across the back line and someone who I know Nottingham Forest think highly of. “
