Ohio State will open three practices in preseason training camp this summer to the ticket-buying general public.
Fans are eligible to purchase tickets to the practices on Aug 6, 7 and 8 at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. It’s the fourth straight year that the Buckeyes are opening a handful of their preseason practices.
The Ohio State Buckeyes take the field for the first football practice of the season at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center on July 31, 2025.
The practices are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. with gates to the fields opening at 8 a.m.
Tickets went on sale on June 9 and cost $48 for general admission and $143 for VIP access, which includes a shaded tent and refreshments. Children under 2 years old are free.
The school said tickets are being sold first-come, first-served, and a limited number of tickets are available for each of the three practices.
The Buckeyes open their season on Sept. 5 against Ball State, followed by a trip to Texas the following weekend and their final nonconference game against Kent State on Sept. 19.
