Trial dates early in the new year have been scheduled for former Kitchener, Ont., neurologist Jeffrey Sloka as he faces two sexual assault charges unrelated to his trial in April, when he was acquitted of other charges.

During the spring trial proceedings, court heard from witnesses that Sloka asked patients to undress so he could perform a physical or skin examination, including breast and pelvic exams.
Patients detailed what they said were unnecessary exams and touching. Sloka also testified in his own defence, denying the allegations or justifying them as necessary for the medical exam.
