GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers claimed a pair of players off waivers, including a tight end whose father was a three-time All-Pro left tackle for San Diego and Washington in the 1980s and ‘90s.

Released after his rookie season training camp, the 6-foot-6, 247-pound Lachey spent last season on the Texans’ practice squad. He was signed to a futures contract in January.
