THE parents of a man killed in a car crash have described their son as a “really positive guy”.

Ben Richards, 27, from St Leonards, East Sussex, died following a crash on Wednesday, February 4.

Emergency services were called to reports of a car accident in Camber at around 4.50am where they sadly pronounced Ben dead at the scene.

Another person was taken to William Harvey Hospital in a serious condition.

In a tribute to their son, his parents said: “He was the most perfect son you could ever ask for.

“He was so easy going and laid back, a really positive guy.

“Loving, caring, fun and happy, he was full of fun, character and life.

“Ben loved cars, car shows, and his cat and he was loved by all of his friends and family.”

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “We continue to ask that if you have any information, or dash cam footage from the time of the collision, that you report it to us.

“Officers would also like to speak to anyone who was with Ben the evening prior to the collision (Tuesday, February 3) in relation to enquiries and encourage them to come forward.

“Information can be reported to us online, by calling 101 quoting serial 116 of 04/02 or by emailing collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk.”
