While the atmosphere around Real Madrid is currently one of excitement following important victories over Manchester City and Elche, not everything appears to be going smoothly for midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, the French international is currently experiencing one of his most complicated periods since arriving at the Santiago Bernabeu.
This is because, despite being considered a highly talented and versatile player, Camavinga has struggled to fully align with the team’s current momentum.
Unable to cope
During the match against Elche, Camavinga found himself under scrutiny after making a mistake that ultimately led to the opposition scoring.
The reaction from sections of the crowd at the Santiago Bernabeu was noticeable, with some supporters expressing their frustration by booing the midfielder.
While criticism from the stands is not unusual at Real Madrid, it showed the growing pressure surrounding the 23-year-old.

Recent events have also contributed to the difficult situation, as Camavinga was previously absent from the squad for the match against Celta Vigo due to a toothache.
However, some observers interpreted the situation negatively, with reports suggesting that he was labelled as “unengaged,” something that has further fuelled discussion about his role in the team.
Lagging behind
At the same time, Real Madrid’s academy continues to produce promising talents, and several young players are pushing hard for opportunities in the first team.
One of those players is Thiago Pitarch. The 18-year-old has recently gained attention after being trusted with an important role during the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 against Man City.
In a decision that surprised many, coach Alvaro Arbeloa opted to select Pitarch ahead of Camavinga.
For Camavinga, the situation is challenging, especially since he is now in his fifth season at Real Madrid.
