WASHINGTON — Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Tuesday that completion of the framework for a peace deal with Iran may “take a few days” as the two sides scramble to iron out the language.

Meanwhile, Iran released an angry statement following US strikes late Monday that targeted two Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) boats that were allegedly seen laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz, slamming it as a “gross violation” of the ongoing cease-fire.
