He couldn’t wait to show them off to his dad.

A video of a young boy showing his dad his painted nails is going viral — but for all the right reasons.

Mom of two, Siera Bearchell, explained in the caption of a TikTok video with over 1 million views how she was at the nail salon with her three-year-old son by her side when he asked if he could “pick a color” too.

After getting his nails painted by the kind salon employees, the little tot was “SO excited to show his dad.”

Upon pulling up to her husband, waiting for his wife and son, the little boy stuck his head and arms out of the window, loudly exclaiming, “Look at my nails! See!” to his proud dad.

Bearchell’s husband shared the same enthusiasm as the couple’s little boy as he responded to his son’s painted nails, saying, “No way! And they did them your favorite color! That’s so exciting, you love them?” to which the three-year-old excitedly nodded his head.

“This shouldn’t be a big deal but it feels like a big deal to have a husband who is so happy and excited about whatever makes his kids happy,” the Canadian mom wrote in her caption.

The video received over 200,000 likes and thousands of comments from people shocked but beyond happy at the father’s healthy reaction.

“not me sobbing because he knows his kids favorite color,” one comment read.

“It’s literally this easy to love your kid,” someone else chimed in.

One parent, adorably, related to her sons once getting their nails painted “red with lightning bolts so they could be fast like Lightning McQueen.”

And that’s why I married him 💞🫶🏼 I was at the salon with my son by my side and he asked if he could “pick a colour.” The ladies at the salon and I said, “absolutely!” He was SO excited to show his dad 🥹 This shouldn’t be a big deal but it feels like a big deal to have a husband who is so happy and excited about whatever makes his kids happy 💞🫶🏼

“As a nail tech who’s having a son this year, I literally cannot wait for this,” someone else wrote.

The Post reached out to Bearchell for comment.

While some adults embrace little boys having some color on their nails, others are rudely discouraging it.

California dad, Christian Shearhod, was beyond angry when his three-year-old son, Ashton, came home from school upset that his teacher told him “painting your nails is only for girls,” after he showed up with bright pink polish.

The encounter was explained in a TikTok with over 4 million views and over 1,000,000 likes.

Commenters were just as angry as Shearhod, writing “I’m not even a parent and I want to have some words with that teacher…”

“I’m a girl, and work on cars. My brother-in-law loves the color pink. My son loves his nails polished. The earth still turns the right way,” another encouraging comment read.
