Lindsay Hubbard offered some insight into her recent conversation with Amanda Batula.
“Two things can be true at once 1) I am unequivocally team Ciara and 2) I can also have a chat,” Lindsay, 39, clapped back at a Summer House fan who criticized her for a comment about Amanda, 34, at the NBC Upfronts earlier this week.
Lindsay added: “You have no idea what I’m chatting about so what’s the problem?”
According to “Gabbing With Gib” podcast host Gibson Johns, Lindsay disclosed her plans to have a conversation with Amanda during the NBC Upfronts as the West Wilson drama continues.
“Amanda texted me,” Lindsay said. “We’re trying to figure out a time to meet.”
Lindsay added that she wants to “honor the history of the friendship all together” and thinks they “should talk.”
The Summer House cast appears to be more open to reconciling with Amanda than West, 31, as more details about their relationship emerge.
Amanda and West released a joint statement in March confirming that their relationship had evolved after weeks of speculation that they were dating.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” they wrote, in part. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
Details about what really went down between them are set to emerge when the Summer House season 10 reunion airs later this month. (Amanda is estranged from husband and fellow Summer House star Kyle Cooke, while West is her best friend Ciara Miller’s ex-boyfriend.)
Lindsay, however, is still looking for some answers.
“Lindsay is not talking to West or Amanda,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively earlier this month. The insider confirmed that West did “reach out to her” after they filmed the reunion in late April. However, Lindsay confirmed on Monday that they’ve yet to speak.
The same source told Us that Lindsay “does not plan on talking to West,” adding that she “doesn’t know how she feels about Amanda yet.”
Lindsay is “still upset with Amanda about how she handled things with Kyle and how she lied to Ciara,” the source continued, noting that she “doesn’t know if [those feelings] will be forever.”
The season 10 Summer House finale airs on Bravo Tuesday, May 19, at 8 p.m. ET.
