Uber could discount your next ride if your World Cup team is eliminated

Uber will not drop the ball.

The rideshare app is offering a slew of new deals for soccer fans — but one discount is sure to help with the heartbreak.

If your favorite team is knocked out of the World Cup tournament, Uber will give you a 30% discount on a future ride.

To seal the deal, head to the app and click on the “choose your team” icon.

You’ll select the country you’re rooting for, click apply and hope that your team doesn’t crash out early, “so you can leave the packed bars, game-day crowds, and heartbreak behind,” according to the company.

Just note that there’s a max discount of $7 and only one rider can use the discount per drive.

Soccer fans will also spot a few other deals to catch before the whistle blows.

Stadium shuttles

Uber rolled out a new shuttle service at four US match venues — so catching the game can be a bit cheaper and easier.

The shuttles will be at host stadiums immediately after games in the big cities: New York, New Jersey, Boston, Miami and Dallas.

Another goal — no more surge pricing.

The company said upfront pricing for the shuttles will automatically be in the Uber app, with fares starting at $45 in Miami, Dallas and Boston.

New York and New Jersey will be $49. To use the new feature, click the shuttle icon in the Uber app to book early, or on matchday.

Travel Pass

Travel Pass is a $4.99 deal for commuters where folks in the US can save up to $85 for Uber and Uber Eats.

Plus, travel passes are up for grabs in Mexico for $1.99 and Canada for $3.99 and each is valid for 14 days.

Cash in on dining out

Dining during the tournament won’t break the bank.

Those who book and dine through Uber Eats Dine Out can earn 30% off — up to $35, “making it even more rewarding for fans in host cities to experience the local cuisine,” the company said.

Fans just make their reservations through Dine Out in the Uber Eats app, upload a photo of the receipt before you leave the restaurants and get your cash back.

Beat the airport maze

You may not save money with this one, but you could save time.

The brand added a new turn-by-turn in-app directions guide that guides riders from their gate to the specific Uber pickup zone, cutting down on the airport chaos.

But it’s only for customers traveling through US, Canada and Mexico host city airports.
