AN URGENT search has been launched for a man who vanished two weeks ago after going for a walk in a rural village.

Lyndan, 28, vanished from his home in Washingborough, Lincolnshire, after going for a walk on Tuesday, January 27.

He was last seen enjoying a coffee in his home before disappearing – with his friends and family growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

It is believed that the 28-year-old left home at around 6.50am before he vanished.

Cops think that he walked from the address but it’s not known where he intended to go.

Despite extensive inquiries the force has been unable to trace which direction Lyndan went.

Urgent search for missing girl, 17, as cops ‘increasingly concerned’

The missing man is described as around 6ft 6ins tall with short brown hair.

He had facial hair and is of medium build.

It’s believed he was wearing a long dark overcoat (as in one of the pictures) with denim jeans and Dr Marten boots.

Cops have since said that Lyndan is known to wear a snood decorated with a skull when it is cold outside.

Lincolnshire Police is frantically appealing for anyone who may have spotted the missing man to come forward.

Members of the public in the Washingborough area are asked to check any door cameras, security footage, dashcams, headcams or any other recorded footage.

Officers are particularly interested in seeing footage captured between 6.50am and 3.20pm on Tuesday 27 January.

So far, cops said there have been no reports of Lyndan having contact with friends since he disappeared.

Lincolnshire Police said: “If anyone remembers seeing someone wearing a long dark overcoat (as in one of the pictures) with denim jeans and Dr Marten boots – potentially with a skull snood – on the morning of Tuesday 27 January at Burton Mews, Washingborough, or since then, please get in touch.

“Any information that anyone can share – no matter how small – may be vital in helping us find Lyndan.

“If you can help please call 101 quoting incident 261 of 28 January.

“In an emergency please call 999.”
