The Oklahoma City Thunder will hold their 2026 rookie introductory press conference on Friday, June 26 at 12 p.m. CT. Sam Presti will accompany Aday Mara, Bennett Stirtz and Otega Oweh as they talk to local media for the first time since the 2026 NBA draft.
The Thunder came away with a pretty impressive three-player class. Mara was selected with the No. 12 pick; Sturtz was selected with the No. 16 pick; and Oweh was selected with the No. 41 pick. The latter two were acquired with draft trades.
The Thunder acquired the No. 16 pick from the Memphis Grizzlies for the No. 17 pick and two future second-round picks. Meanwhile, they acquired the No. 41 pick and cash considerations from the Miami Heat for the No. 37 pick.
Expect Mara, Stirtz and Oweh to field all kinds of questions as Thunder fans get familiar with the trio. Ahead of an important offseason filled with roster decisions, OKC looks to replenish the back end of its roster with youth. All three will get a chance to help keep their title window open for the foreseeable future.
