Joshua Jackson stepped out with model Olivia Burgess for the first time in June 2026.
The two were photographed on a romantic visit to New York City, where they held hands and smiled. Jackson was in the Big Apple at the time to attend a screening of his and Dawson’s Creek costar Katie Holmes’ new movie Happy Hours at the Tribeca Film Festival.
A possible new relationship for Jackson comes on the heels of a difficult few years, as he split from ex-wife Jodie Turner-Smith in 2023 and he later lost his childhood home in the 2025 California wildfires. (Jackson and Turner-Smith share a daughter, Juno Rose Diana Jackson, who was born in 2020.)
Burgess, the potential new lady in Jackson’s life, is a multitalented model and actress who has walked runways for top fashion houses and danced for the likes of Beyoncé.

Olivia Burgess Was Born in Paris
Years before she appeared on runways in the City of Light, Burgess was raised as a toddler in Paris by her mother, model Gloria Burgess. The family later moved to Washington D.C. when Olivia was 4 years old.
She opened up to Gainsayer about the full-circle experience of returning to Paris once she had established herself as a model.
“I’m originally from Paris but I haven’t lived there since I was a toddler. But as my dad has always lived here I would come for a visit at least once or twice a year to spend time with him,” she said in 2017. “I always wanted an excuse to move back and modeling has given me that chance.”
Modeling Started as a Side Gig for Olivia Burgess
Olivia confirmed to Gainsayer in 2017 that her first passion was horse-riding until she was sidelined with an injury. Because her mother, Gloria, was a model, Oliva walked into an agency to see whether they were interested in her.
Oliva ultimately signed with the prestigious Wilhelmina modeling agency. She credited her dance background with helping her catch on quickly in the modeling world.
“I credit dance. With dance you’re always trying to make everything, even the most difficult steps, look effortless,” she told the outlet in 2017. “To do this you have to be powerful and in control to mask the fact that, ‘No! Dancing is not easy!’ I think that I’ve also been able to bring this strength and elegance into my modeling. But there’s always room for improvement! I continue to learn through experience.”
Olivia Burgess Walked the Runway for Major Fashion Houses
The model has appeared in runway shows for Jean Paul Gaultier, Chromat and Agent Provocateur. She has also posed for print campaigns for Bloomingdale’s and The Gap.
“I believe I have a lot more to share with the world. It’s humbling for me to know that people are already taking notice of my work,” she said in 2017.
Olivia Burgess Danced for Beyonce
Olivia put her background in dance to excellent use at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards as a background dancer for Beyoncé’s iconic live performance of “Love on Top.” (This performance achieved legendary status when Beyoncé cradled her stomach to reveal her pregnancy with Blue Ivy Carter.)
“At the casting, all they told us was that we were auditioning for a live performance with a Grammy award winning artist,” she revealed in 2017. “That could be anyone! It wasn’t until the first rehearsal that I found out that I would be performing alongside Beyoncé at the VMAs. My mind was totally blown.”

In June 2026, Burgess and The Affair alum Jackson were spotted together on a romantic day out in New York City on June 7, 2026.
Burgess wore a black tank top, gray Bermuda shorts and mules with a messy updo while Jackson was clad in a linen button-up shirt and matching pants paired with sneakers and sunglasses.
The photos of the pair holding hands and smiling came on the heels of Jackson reconnecting with Dawson’s Creek costar Holmes while filming their new movie Happy Hours. On the same day that Burgess was photographed with Jackson, he walked the red carpet with Holmes at the Tribeca Film Festival for their movie’s premiere.
