A WOMAN and four children have been injured in a horror car accident as cops arrest a 44-year-old man on suspicion of drink driving.
Emergency services were scrambled to the scene after receiving reports of a collision near Burton Constable, East Yorkshire.
A woman, driving a Toyota, and two children suffered “serious injuries” in the smash and were rushed to hospital for treatment.
Another two children were also treated in hospital in the wake of the horror collision.
A 44-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He is also suspected of driving whilst above the legal alcohol limit and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

One of the four children injured in the horror smash suffered “life-changing” injuries, cops said.
The woman and another child were treated for “serious injuries that are not thought to be life-changing.”
Any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of the incident is being urged to contact the police urgently.
