Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are not letting her summer tour get in the way of quality one-on-one time.
While the pop star, 41, is scheduled to headline several European festivals through the end of July, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly that the former Canadian prime minister, 54, plans to visit his girlfriend overseas.
“They’re used to travel,” the insider notes. “They’re going back and forth all the time. It’s just part of the rotation of their lives.”
However, come August, Perry’s schedule will open up, allowing her to spend time with Trudeau and his kids in Montreal. (The politician shares sons Xavier, 18, and Hadrien, 12, and daughter Ella-Grace, 17, with his estranged wife, Sophie Grégoire, while the “Roar” singer coparents daughter Daisy, 5, with her ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom.)
“They’re being careful with travel schedules for the kids,” the source explains. “When they’re not working, they’re figuring out time to be with each other and factor their modern family into the equation. Their kids are all off school, [so it is] easier to spend time together. They’re playing family more and more.”
The pair went public with their unexpected romance in July 2025 before becoming Instagram official in December. Since then, they have attended several events together, including the June 8 premiere of Perry’s concert film The Lifetimes Tour — Live From Paris, where they made their red carpet debut.
“I am very in love,” the Grammy nominee gushed to music journalist Tomás Mier at the Tribeca Film Festival screening before calling Trudeau the “love of my life.”
Earlier this month, a source exclusively told Us that the former Liberal Party leader wants Perry to “live part of the year” in his new $3.1 million home in Montreal’s affluent Outremont borough. The insider described the seven-bedroom, five-bathroom abode as “large enough” for their blended family.
Since they started dating, the “Watch It Burn” singer and Trudeau have been spotted bonding with each other’s children. Xavier shared on the “Can’t Be Censored” podcast in April that Perry is “always happy to give me advice” as he works toward a music career of his own, while Hadrien and Daisy were recently seen out and about with the couple.
“They met each other’s kids right out of the gate,” the first source tells Us. “Their kids have quietly been integrated during visits.”
Us Weekly has reached out to reps for Perry and Trudeau for comment.
