PLYMOUTH, Mass. — The lone holdout juror who defied 11 others by maintaining his belief that former Massachusetts nurse Lindsay Clancy was guilty of murder before a mistrial was declared earlier this month has made his most direct public remarks — speaking without a middleman for the first time.
Michael Desronvil, who is said to be hiding out at an undisclosed location, said tktk.
“I know the whole focus has been on me, but we want to reel everything back and put the focus on the three angels,” he said in a video statement airing exclusively on Fox News’ “Hannity” Monday evening. “The ones that can’t speak for themselves, the ones that can’t defend themselves, and the ones that can’t fight the battles — and those are Cora, Dawson and Callan.”

He briefly spoke about himself as well.
“I want to thank God for my Catholic faith,” he said, speaking softly. “I want to thank God for blessing me with the ability to love my daughter. And foremost, I would like to thank everyone, every individual, that has supported me throughout this difficult situation.”
He had released prior statements through his attorney, Edward Paltzik, and in remarks to YouTuber Ray Marcel, who streams under the screen name FugitiveTV — primarily defending himself from allegations stemming from several other jurors.
In a series of interviews after the mistrial on Sept. 4, Desronvil was accused of wanting to find Clancy guilty despite harboring his own reasonable doubts about the prosecution’s case. He has denied those claims.

“Michael has zero doubt.” Paltzik said in an exclusive sitdown interview with Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany over the weekend.

He also defended his client against a local report about prior domestic violence allegations against him.

“Every single allegation against Michael is false, fabricated, never happened, categorically false,” he said. “It just didn’t happen.”

Still, a war of words has been heating up between Paltzik and Clancy’s defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, who dubbed the holdout “the obstructionist juror” and has asked the court to launch an investigation into allegations from other jurors who say he refused to uphold the law in the deliberation room.

Clancy is due to return to court Tuesday for a status conference. Prosecutors are expected to give an update on their plans for a new trial, and Clancy’s defense has also filed motions seeking to have the charges dismissed and calling for an investigation into the other jurors’ allegations against Desronvil.
